Since Angel is Texan through and through, we, along with the rest of our great nation, are following the news from Texas with concern as they go through this terrible disaster. Our hearts and prayers are with all those affected by this unrelenting storm.
We ask you to join us in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we ask for a hedge of protection around those in the affected areas. We ask you to give peace comfort and hope to families who may have lost loved ones, who have lost homes and property, our hearts are heavy as we learn of their losses. We pray that you will give each one of them a sense of peace and understanding and help them to look to you for strength during the difficult days ahead and always.
Lord, protect and guide all of the good Samaritans, volunteers, churches and organizations who are acting as your hands and feet bringing much needed support and relief to this area. Be the Comforter that you promised to us, and heal the cities of Texas.
Thank you all for joining us in prayer, and for all that you are doing to give, support and help those affected by this tragedy.
We reached out to some wonderful guests from Houston that recently stayed with us and asked how we could help. They asked for prayer and shared with us about their church, New Covenant Christian Church, where they worship and are volunteering during this disaster.
