1. Enjoy Some Quiet Time by the Fire Pit
Sometimes, a little quiet time is just what we need to get us in vacation mode. Down by the river, you’ll find a seating area around a fire pit where you can read, meditate, journal, or simply relax while enjoying the sounds of the river and nature all around. Your condo’s private balcony is also a fantastic place to relax and take in the views!
2. Have a Tasty Picnic Outside
Since our condos and villas feature a fully equipped kitchen, prepare a delicious picnic lunch to enjoy the great outdoors in our picnic area! We also have gas and charcoal grills to make burgers, hot dogs, and all of your other favorite “cookout” foods. There is no need to worry about supplies as you’ll find all of your favorite grocery stores just minutes away from our Sevierville resort, including Kroger, Publix, Food City, and Walmart!
3. Take a Romantic Walk Along the River
Our Sevierville resort is not only located in the heart of the Smokies, but offers a spectacular setting right along the Little Pigeon River. For those spending a romantic getaway in the Smoky Mountains with their sweetheart, take an evening stroll along the river; there are gas lamps along the path to light your way!
4. Fish in the Little Pigeon River
Bring your fishing poles and favorite lures and throw out a line. With smallmouth bass, trout, and other fish, you are sure to have a great time with friends and family trying to catch the big one. The flowing waters of the Little Pigeon River and the deep pools along our resort offer some great fishing opportunities, and even if you don’t catch the big one, you are sure to have a great time fishing at our resort in Sevierville TN.
5. Float Down the River
Bring a tube from home or stop by the office for a loaner tube and head on down to the Little Pigeon River for a float trip like no other. You can tube around our peninsula to the Apple Barn for a scenic float trip and only a short walk back to the resort!
6. Play Games in the Clubhouse
A little rain or chilly weather never spoils your time at our resort; turn this into an opportunity to play the games in our clubhouse! Here you’ll find a game room with a pool table, foosball, and air hockey, as well as a Multi-Cade Arcade Game with iconic classics like Pac-Man, Galaga, Centipede, and Donkey Kong.
7. Take a Soothing Dip in the Hot Tub or Outdoor Pool
Another one of the fun things to do right on property at our Sevierville resort is the outdoor hot tub! After spending a day exploring the Smokies, there’s nothing like a soothing soak at the end of the day. You’ll feel the stress of your daily life back home disappear in an instant and feel completely refreshed after just one hot tub session.
If you prefer to cool off for a bit, hop into the refreshing outdoor swimming pool! Enjoy some poolside R&R at the Appleview River Resort pool. Catch some rays in one of the many chaise lounges, bring your kids' favorite pool toys, and splash a little in the pool. We even have a one-and-a-half-foot kiddie pool for the littlest guests!
8. Get a Serious Workout in the Fitness Center
We’re proud to be home to an incredible fitness center that features numerous weight training and cardio machines, a sauna, plasma televisions, and complimentary water! Work that hearty dinner off from last night on one of the treadmills or pedal away on the stationary bike. If you prefer to lift weights, we have plenty of dumbbells and exercise machines at your disposal. We even have Yoga mats and balls, as well as a sauna to really get your sweat going!
